USD/СAD: Elliott Wave Analysis and Forecast for 13.06.25 – 20.06.25

13Jun.202513:18

The article covers the following subjects:

Major Takeaways

  • Main scenario: Consider short positions from corrections below the level of 1.3865 with a target of 1.3425 – 1.3108. A sell signal: the price holds below 1.3865. Stop Loss: above 1.3900, Take Profit: 1.3425 – 1.3108.
  • Alternative scenario: Breakout and consolidation above the level of 1.3865 will allow the pair to continue rising to the levels of 1.4300 – 1.4540. A buy signal: the level of 1.3865 is broken to the upside. Stop Loss: below 1.3830, Take Profit: 1.4300 – 1.4540.

Main scenario

Consider short positions from corrections below the level of 1.3865 with a target of 1.3425 – 1.3108.

Alternative scenario

Breakout and consolidation above the level of 1.3865 will allow the pair to continue rising to the levels of 1.4300 – 1.4540.

Analysis

The ascending fifth wave of larger degree 5 presumably continues developing on the weekly chart, with wave (1) of 5 formed as its part. Apparently, the bearish correction is unfolding as the second wave (2) of 5 on the daily chart, with wave A of (2) developing as its part. The fifth correction of smaller degree v of A appears to be developing on the H4 time frame. If the presumption is correct, the USD/CAD pair will resume falling to the levels of 1.3425 – 1.3108. The level of 1.3865 is critical in this scenario as a breakout will enable the pair to continue rising to the levels of 1.4300 – 1.4540.

This forecast is based on the Elliott Wave Theory. When developing trading strategies, it is essential to consider fundamental factors, as the market situation can change at any time.
