Breaking: IC Markets Seeks UAE License

IC Markets, the Australia-headquartered broker, is considering strengthening its Middle East presence by obtaining a license in the United Arab Emirates. However, it remains unclear which regulator in the country the broker will approach.

A press release shared with Financemagnates.com also detailed that the broker has hired Jason Hughes as its General Manager for the Middle East. Hughes previously worked with many brokerage brands, including eToro, Exinity, ADSS, CMC Markets and IG Group, bringing about two decades of experience to his new role at IC Markets.

Furthermore, the Australia-headquartered broker is establishing a new service centre in Malaysia to meet its broader commercial growth strategy. It is also investing in its tech hubs in India and the Philippines.
