Swissquote Score Sponsorship Goal with UEFA Women’s EURO 2025

Swiss financial services firm Swissquote and its joint
venture Yuh were named the Official National Partners of the UEFA
Women’s EURO 2025. According to uefa.com, the tournament will be held in
Switzerland in July next year. The country won the bid to host the football event, beating Poland and France, and a joint bid from Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.

Expanding UEFA Partnerships

For quite a while now, Swissquote has long supported European football. It is among the sponsors of the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League. And now, the firm is extending its involvement to focus on the
women’s game.

Speaking about the deal, Markus Schwab, the CEO of
Yuh, said: “It is important to us to make our contribution to the positive
development of women’s football. This sponsorship gives us the opportunity to
make our commitment to female empowerment visible outside of the finance
world.”

The sponsorship agreement reportedly includes branding
on media backdrops, in-stadium LED boards, and promotional materials. The game is particularly important to the firm as it will take place in Switzerland, Swissquote, and Yuh’s home country.

Other local partnerships include Miele Switzerland and
Swisscom, who have also joined as Official National Partners. Swissquote and
Yuh also aim to inspire broader social change by promoting financial literacy
and encouraging an inclusive and equitable society.

Promoting Financial Literacy

“We have built a strong and successful
partnership with Swissquote over the years, making it a natural step to extend
our collaboration that includes Yuh for the upcoming UEFA Women’s EURO,
especially as the tournament takes place in the company’s home country,”
Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA marketing director, mentioned.

“Their support will be instrumental in making
this tournament the biggest and most successful yet while we work together
towards our shared goal of advancing women’s football globally.”

According to the organizers, the final draw is
scheduled for December 16 at Lausanne’s SwissTech Convention Center. The
tournament will be held in eight venues across Switzerland, and more than
720,000 tickets will be available for the finals.
